"Challenge Costa de Barcelona-Maresme" organization, has decided to extend the registration period to 150 € for Half Challenge in 15 days, due to the problems and confusion caused by the cancellation of the previous contract with the organizing company. |

HalfChallenge Costa de Barcelona-Maresme will be Firefighters and Polices World Championship |

In coordination with the Sports Coordinator of FireFighter and Police, Half Challenge Costa de Barcelona-Maresme, will be World Championship FireFighter and Police. TEAMChallenge Barcelona with the Sports Coordinator of Fire and Police will organize the event on May 16th and will have a separate wave start.
Anybody who wants to take part in the championship, must prove by an official credential. Soon we will publish a special section with all information about Championship in our website.

Calella Triathlon Team begins its training under direction of new coach Jordi Pérez Capdevila. The main goal of this team, is the Half Challenge Costa de Barcelona-Maresme May 16th, but will certainly present in many other races.

Maresme County Goverment and Calella Council make an agremment of the Challenge 2010 with brand owners |

Both, Maresme County Goverment and Calella Council, are advocating the holding of the Challenge triathlons in our territory as a promotion and positioning the brand's international tourism Costa de Barcelona-Maresme.
For this reason, and after cancell the agreement signed with Evolution Race Company, (event organizer Environmental Challenge Challenge and the long distance in 2009), Maresme County Goverment and Calella Council have sought alternatives to be sure that the territory will hold the race in a furure. |

 A Belgian television crew from SporzTV, will participate the Challenge Costa de Barcelona-Maresme October 3rd. Participants will be personalities from various fields like Sabine Appelmans, a former professional tennis player.
Triathletes will be prepared and trained by Kathleen Smet, fourth in triathlon at the Athens Olympics Games. |
